Alyssa Auten, Secretary
Alyssa Auten has a Bachelor's degree in Architecture with a minor in history from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She earned her Master's degree in Historic Building Conservation at the University of Bath in England, and lived and studied historic architecture overseas for two years.
She has been the Executive Director of the Nicollet County Historical Society for two years. Alyssa has more than eight years professional experience in the architecture and historic preservation fields. She has consulted on historic building restorations for the cities of Lindstrom and St. Peter, has worked with National Heritage Area development and designed preservation exhibits and timelines for multiple companies.
Alyssa has served on multiple Heritage Preservation Commissions and has been on the MALHM board for two years. Alyssa brings a passion for historical organizations and a background in conservation methods, architectural styles and managing historic sites. She currently lives in St. Peter with her fiance and elderly cat.
