Jennifer Andries has been the executive director of the Lyon County Historical Society in Marshall since 2012.
In 2012, the Lyon County Historical Society made a large transition by moving to the former Marshall-Lyon County Library building. Since then, she has been involved in creating a museum in the former library space with the help of staff and volunteers. Andries has also made an impact on the organization by expanding its annual budget, community outreach, and organizational structure.
Andries serves on the advisory board for the Marshall Community Services. Her personal interests include traveling, camping, fishing, reading, walking, kayaking, and spending time with family. She lives in Marshall with her husband Brad.
Andries earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Southwest Minnesota State University and a Master in Business Administration degree from the Minnesota School of Business.
