Host sites sought for future MALHM Conferences

Chase on the Lake in Walker, MN, is the site of the 2017 Minnesota Alliance of Local History Museums Annual Meeting and Conference. Submit your proposal to host the conference in 2018 or 2019.

MALHM is looking for host sites for its annual meeting and conference.

As an organization representing history groups throughout the state, MALHM tries to move the site to different regions every year. To be considered for either the 2018 or the 2019 events, submit a bid by Dec. 16, 2016.

Bid packets are available for 2018 and 2019. If you have questions about the process, please contact Coordinator Marci Matson.

One of the host site partners should be a local history group. Others may include local hotels, Convention and Visitors Bureaus, entertainment venues and others who could host activities before, during or after the conference.
