Beltrami County Historical Society seeks candidates for the 3/4 time position of Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for overall leadership, management, and administration of the History Center, including: working with the Board of Directors to develop and implement BCHS goals and objectives, training and supervising staff and volunteers, developing and implementing programs and exhibits, curating the collections, overseeing the budget, and advocating on behalf of the organization. Applicants should possess strong leadership, communication, and networking abilities, and enthusiasm for the mission of BCHS. Position requires evening and weekend work, including regional travel for meetings.
The candidate selected for employment must possess a valid driver’s license and will be required to successfully pass a criminal background investigation prior to beginning employment.
