Join the MALHM Mutual Assistance Team for an emergency response workshop & Curator's Affinity Group meeting on October 6th at the Pope County Historical Society from 10am–3pm. Not able to make it but still interested in attending a future workshop? Please share your info here!


Event Schedule:

10:00am–12:00pm Wet Salvage Training

Presentation & hands-on demonstrations, focusing on how to safely remove documents, photographs, and artifacts from water and the proper techniques to dry them. Get your hands wet practicing!


12:00–1:30pm Lunch & Discussion

Network with colleagues and discuss the potential revival of the MALHM Curator Affinity Group, a gathering of folks who work with collections. Bring your ideas for future trainings, resources. etc.
