In order to better serve local history organizations, MALHM and MNHS's Local History Services periodically conduct research projects to identify organizational needs and compile information on the state of local history in Minnesota.​​​​​

Minnesota Local History
Finances, Membership, & Policies Survey

Developed to collect information across three broad themes: general financial information, membership details, and organizational policies. Survey information shared by local organizations will help inform future projects and outreach.
