MALHM Membership Dues Structure
Starting January 2026
After careful consideration, the Board of Directors has decided to transition to a new dues structure in 2026. This will be the first change in membership dues since 2018. The change will help ensure we can continue to expand our programs, advocacy, and other resources and will take into consideration the wide range in resources among the organizations MALHM serves.

How and when will the change happen?
Your current membership will continue unchanged until your renewal date in 2026, when the new structure will take effect. We are also transferring to an online membership management system for the first time. It will allow for automated reminders & messaging and includes exciting new opportunities to feature member organizations. More information will be sent to members about the new system in the following weeks.

What about business memberships?
Business memberships will also be changing slightly in January 2026. These memberships are intended for consultants, providers, and for-profit corporations that serve Minnesota museums & local history organizations. The new dues structure will also begin to reflect the range in staffing & resources among these partners.
